KB0009010 Repeated Login Required in Enterprise Hub

Using Vista and Microsoft Office 2007, when viewing file from the Enterprise Hub web application, you are repeatedly prompted to enter your Windows username and password. This is a known issue associated with Office 2007, please see:


There are two solutions:

1. Edit the Registry

  • Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WebClient\Parameters
  • Add a multi-string value called AuthForwardServerList
  • Edit it and add the url of the server(s) e.g. http://myserver, one on each line.
  • Reboot, or restart the 'WebClient' service.

2. Disable the 'WebClient' service on the client pc.
