Windows 7 and Server 2008 use the IIS7 or 7.5 webserver. This topic descibes how to configure IIS for PIAB. This involves creating a new web application called 'piabws'.

In addition, the MIME Type mappings must be set up correctly to allow files to be served correctly via the Enterprise Hub web application.

• Windows 7
• Windows Server 2008 R2

• IIS7 installed and enabled.
• .NET Framework 3.5 installed

Configuring IIS is similar in Windows 7 and Server 2008. The example here shows Server 2008 screens.

1. Open the IIS Management Console. There are various ways to do this including:

• Open 'Control Panel'
• Click 'System and Security'
• Click 'Administrative Tools'
• Open 'Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager'

2. Open the sites and select the 'Default Web Site'.

3. Right-click the 'Default Web Site'.

4. Select 'Add Application'

5. Enter the 'Alias' and 'Phyical Location' as below.

6. Click and exit.
