Instructions

Configuring IIS is similar in Windows 7 and Server 2008. The example here shows Server 2008 screens.


1. Open the IIS Management Console. There are various ways to do this including:

  • Open 'Control Panel'
  • Click 'System and Security'
  • Click 'Administrative Tools'
  • Open 'Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager'

2. Open the sites and select the 'Default Web Site'.

3. Right-click the 'Default Web Site'.

4. Select 'Add Application'

5. Enter the 'Alias' and 'Phyical Location' as below.

6. Click and exit.
