Symptom

You can't upload or view a large file. You may get an error such as:

Maximum Request Length Exceeded

Cause and Solution

By default, the maximum file size you can transfer to and from the PROJECT in a box server is limited to 15Mb, to protect the network and the server in shared environments. However you can choose to relax this upload limit:

1. On the server, go to folder c:\project in box professional\piabws
2. Edit the file web.config
3. Find the line: <httpRuntime maxRequestLength="15000"/>
4. Modify that to, e.g., 100000 (=100Mb)
