We really do have a product priced for every conceivable need and believe in publishing our prices so you know where you stand and what you can afford:

• Student or new to Project Management - Community Edition - Free
• PRINCE2 student or newly qualified - Community Edition plus P2 Guidance Module - £25
• Individual Project Manager - Personal Version - £99
• Small team - PROJECT in a box pack - from £575 typically £180/head
• Large Team - PROJECT in a box pack - typically £140/head
• Corporate - PROJECT in a box National Licence - £19,000

All our prices exclude VAT and other taxes as may be applicable when purchasing from outside the UK.

Pricing for the Individual

PROJECT in a box are the only systems vendor that puts as much effort into it's private and individual clients as it does it's corporate customers.  We recognised that the job of the lone Project Manager without the support of a strong organisational PM culture and PSO can be very difficult and even more in need of professional tools.  We also recognise there is often a resistance to invest until you know what you are dealing with and that's why you can use Community Edition for free, even add on P2GM if you want and then trade up to Personal Version when you are ready.

In Personal version we gave you access to the same tools we sell to a corporate market and unlike other vendors if you want to use it in a more engaged corporate mode you just upgrade the licence and start sharing, it couldn't be simpler.

Almost all our customers, even the largest, have started with Community Edition.  So no need to waste time, start now and add on capability and capacity when you need to:

Pricing for Teams

Every organisation and team has a different requirement so we let you pick the licence types you need to best service your requirements from the following list:

• Server Licence - £500 each

• Manager Licence - £300 each

• Team Licence - £75 each

• P2 Guidance Module - £25 each 

• Enterprise Hub - £100 for a pack of ten users

• Method Manager - (included free with Server Licence)

All PROJECT in a box packages must include at least one Server licence (to permit the installation of a server) and then any mixture of licences can be added on top. The following are typical configurations in which PROJECT in a box is implemented to support a PRINCE2 environment:

PROJECT in a box comes with the P2ABC methodology (including the fully Authentic CompletePRINCE2 method) and the PPP method template but you are not limited to supporting the full Authentic PRINCE2 and you can customise this extensively and even use PROJECT in a box to host your own methods all within the prices quoted above.  If you want to add the Authentic Managing Successful Programmes Method Template this is £1,000 per server.

All our PROJECT in a box Server, Manager, Team, Enterprise hub etc licences come with one year of free support and upgrades for your peace of mind.

For Corporates and Multi-Nationals

We recognise that for larger still organisations our buy what you need approach can have drawbacks, so we also provide National and Global licences for PROJECT in a box.  These licence types allow unlimited use of the core products within your organisation enabling you to ship them on standard desktops and bring a bespoke projects culture and process to every part of your organisation.

Notes: These prices exclude Travel and Subsistence costs as well as VAT and any local taxes which may apply.

You can also purchase separate unlimited use licences for the following:

P2GM - £1,000 for unlimited use by an organisation in a single country.

Enterprise Hub - £2,000 for unlimited use by an organisation on an existing Server instance.

PIAB Office Service

The PIAB Office and Officeplus services include secure hosting of your server by PROJECT in a box which then enables individual users to connect to the server from the client on their desktop or laptop over the internet.

The packages differ in terms of the numbers of licences and methodologies supported however both PIAB Office and PIAB Officeplus start from just £12.50 per person per month (pppm) with Enterprise Hub users being as little as £1pppm.  A minimum 6 month contract is required for the starting number of users on each package, afterwards you pay monthly as long as you keep the service.

Our services fall into four areas:

• Software Skills training - £1,000 per day on-site plus £20/delegate for materials (number of delegates per day vary depending on course type) or  £100 per hour for personal web based training

• Consultancy and tailoring - £600/day in our offices, £750/day in client offices

 Notes on Prices

• These prices apply from the 22nd May 2008.
• All prices exclude VAT and any other taxes which may be applicable.
• All prices exclude Travel and Subsistence costs where applicable.  For international travel we reserve the right to charge travel time which will be included in your quotation if applicable.
• All software licence prices are PERPETUAL.  Your Perpetual licence allows you to use the software indefinitely.
• All software licence prices include the first year's support and upgrades for free except for Personal Version and P2GM which have just three months included for free.
• Support and upgrades may be extended in future years for 20% of the price of your current licensed software value.  Support extensions become due on all licences on the anniversary of your initial purchase, or at three months after your initial purchases in the case of Personal Version or P2GM.
