Integrated Official OGC Guidance

OGC now make many of their publications, including some translations available on-line under an annual licensing arrangement with the TSO which is accessed either with an individual or concurrent multi-user licence.

PROJECT in a box are a reseller for the TSO and can provide access to these guidance materials for you.  As part of our implementation consultancy we can integrate them seamlessly into your standard project method templates so that in your project there is the document  and then links to the guidance relating to the process it is within,  the role it relates to etc.  This is a joined up way of keeping you and your project teams in touch with guidance materials while they work on their projects.

New Managing Portfolios

This week OGC have broken new ground with the publication of the first title in the new Portfolio Management theme.  The Executive guide leads the way for the Practitioners guide to come in 2011 which will be supported by a qualification and examinations.

The publication is aimed at decision makers who have to prioritize investment across an organisation's programmes and projects.  Introducing the key concepts of Portfolio Management, how it benefits the organisation and fits with business process.  As well as a health check questionnaire to review the current state of your Portfolio Management.

Customer news

We are delighted to be able to publicise two more of our customers following their approval for us to use their name.

The last few months have seen us continue to make progress in traditional Public sector markets with further sales to Local Authorities where the excellent value of PROJECT in a box is continuing to prove attractive.  Significant steps have also been taken in the private sector with sales into diverse markets including notable sales into the engineering and construction sectors.

Sales of the MSP method template have also been very popular in particular with Community and Personal Edition customers who are recognising the significant value in obtaining all their MSP materials for just £75+vat.
