PRINCE2 2009 with Guidance

Following the interest that surrounded last months announcement that we were now able to provide integrated official guidance with our method template services we have taken the next step of producing a standard method template which can be used on any of the PROJECT in a box products.

The PRINCE2-2009 with Guidance method template is preconfigured with links to the official PRINCE2 guidance materials hosted by TSO and these are available for each theme and process as well as being packaged into a reference library section.  This makes it a perfect study aide for someone learning PRINCE2 or an implementation support capability.

Priced at just £75 for Community Edition or Persona Edition including a year of access to the guidance materials and also available in multiuser configuration this will be a popular addition.

MSP Method Template Reviewed

Since the Launch of the MSP Method template in our February Newsletter it has proven to be very popular with individuals and organisations alike providing a lot of capability for a small price.

The current July/August Project Manager Today magazine carries a review of the MSP Method Template in its Quicklooks section.  In this quick review Steve gets straight to the heart of the benefits of the MSP Method template which is interactivity, providing users with the full official MSP Manual split up into the relevant areas and with created templates and tools to help you implement.

Sales of the MSP Method Template have also been very popular in particular with Community and Personal Edition customers who are recognising the significant value in obtaining all their MSP materials for just £75+vat.

Agile News

This years Agile Business Conference will be further enhanced with the addition of an Agile Awards dinner.  This Innovation is a good indicator of the strength of Agile in the UK today and awards will be given in ten categories recognising the People, Projects and Products that have contributed to Agile in the UK.  If you are thinking of making a nomination then you can get the form from here but be quick the deadline is the end of July.

February saw the publication of the new DSDM Atern student handbook which should prove to be a great aide for those of you studying for a qualification or looking to implement DSDM Atern into your organisation.  The handbook is authored by Dot and Ian Tudor of TCC and available from the DSDM Consortium store.

'As Chairman of the DSDM Consortium I am thrilled to be able to introduce the Student Workbook for DSDM Atern. It complements well the Atern Manual and the various pocketbooks available and will prove a great help to those wishing to understand the DSDM Atern framework.'

Steve Messenger - Chairman (DSDM Consortium)
